Our Non Rail program

Is your spouse coming to The Orange Blossom Special in Orlando?  Are you bringing your children or perhaps grandchildren?  Maybe you’re bringing your entire family?  We have a great Non Rail and General Tour Program available for NMRA 2017 Orlando.  It’s been designed for everyone imaginable!

For spouses and your family, and even you, we have some exciting events in 2017.  Take a cooking class at Aprons Cooking School presented by Publix Supermarkets.  How about a twist on the ladies luncheon, High Tea at Corner Rose Tea Room where you can partake in a Tradition of the Past?  How would you and your younger ones like to make some chocolate?  We have Candy Making at Farris & Foster's Chocolatiers.  You can learn about Digital Photography, Making Jewelry, Acrylic Painting and Sewing.  We’ll have a Fashion Show at Stein Mart too.  Any volunteers to be a model?  And we’ll continue the Project Linus tradition, Making Quilts and Blankets for Ill or Traumatized children and teens.  And at the end of the day, Monday through Thursday, we’ll have Family Night Out at the Movies.

We have Tours and Activities for families, couples, mothers and daughters, young and old alike.  We have Tours for just Mom and Dad, of any age.  Our Non Rail Program is designed to keep everyone busy from dawn til dusk and later.  They're sure to be crowd pleasers with tours and activities that will excite you, touch your senses and most of all are a lot of fun.  Some of our Tours & Activities are offsite and some are at the Convention Hotel, The Rosen Plaza.  Some have a fee and some are complimentary.  From learning how to make chocolates to High Tea to Movie Night, there is something for everyone.  And oh, by the way, if you're a model railroader, check out the Acrylic Painting and Digital Photography seminars!
